We are geared to achieve underwriting excellence and are committed to excellent customer service. We are seeking a Commercial Underwriter to become a part of our dynamic and knowledgeable team.

The Role
- Underwrite multi-line commercial risks, varying in size
- Ability to underwrite products and develop unique underwriting solutions
- Ability to grow and maintain business relationships with broker partners
- Assess and evaluate risk quality and implement risk management recommendations

Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and meet deadlines
- Professional and personable
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve company results
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team and can work remotely, if required

Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education an asset
- CIP designation or working towards is an asset
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working as a Commercial Underwriter

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
