Looking a Junior Cloud/DevOps Specialist to help shape and maintain our cloud infrastructure and DevOps. This is a unique opportunity to work with leading-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment within a large organization.

The role involves hands-on technical work, optimizing systems and user interactions within our stack. Participating in SRE on-call rotation, you will help shape the future technical direction of our stacks and improve reliability and performance.

The company values collaboration and a blame-free atmosphere, ensuring support from fellow engineers and leadership. The team works closely with developer teams at every step of the development process, using Scrum as an agile project management framework

Skill & responsibility
- Exposure to Cloud or DevOps, including AWS certifications and relevant courses. Our emphasis is on ensuring the scalability and reliability of cloud systems, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- **Programming skills** we'll review your GitHub account.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git and GitHub.
- Empathetic with strong organizational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail.

Learning Opportunities:

- Develop strong background in Cloud Computing Services - Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation (or Terraform) and Ansible.
- Learn how to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, and GitHub Actions.
- Became familiar with various tech stacks including Go, Node.js, PHP (WordPress), and Ruby.
- Improve technical skills in GNU/Linux and web technologies.
- Became knowledgeable about databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Redis, AWS SQS, and AWS Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra).
- Learn about security and compliance management with centralized logging, threat analysis and remediation.

**Job Type**: Temporary

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- total work: 5 years (preferred)
- Mean stack developer: 4 years (preferred)
- nodejs: 4 years (preferred)
