DevOps Specialist- 100% remote, work from home

We are seeking a DevOps Specialist with experience and passion for assisting in developing, integrating, and delivering software components into our informatics platforms.

We are a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers who work in a dynamic and Agile environment.

Responsibilities

- Design and build robust CI/CD pipelines to deliver our software

- Managing Kubernetes clusters and maintaining cloud architectures.

- Identify issues & areas of concern before they arise and ensure the smooth operation of platforms.

You should have some experience in the implementation of technical solutions and be recognized as a contributor with a good grasp of the breadth and depth of your team's code base.

Qualifications

- 1 – 2 + years of professional DevOps experience in a diverse set of technology disciplines.

- 1 + years of Kubernetes experience, deploying resources with Helm and authoring Helm charts

- Experience implementing CI/CD solutions for microservice architectures

- Good knowledge of object storage, relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch, Redis) database systems.

- Exposure and experience deploying infrastructure to private or public clouds is highly desired.

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Willingness and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time

- Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team across multiple disciplines

- Willingness to research and learn new approaches and technologies
