**Position Type**

Contract Position _with possibility of extension_

**Purpose**:The Coach/Mentor under the direction of the Program Manager, will work as a part of a team in a fast paced environment with the main responsibility to share the delivery NPAAMB programming to achieve the learning objectives and outcomes as outlined in lesson plans and; to provide ongoing support, advocacy and mentoring to participants during their involvement with the NPAAMB. This position will act as a support for both the participants in programming, as well as the program instructors to ensure that all program needs are organized and implemented to achieve the desired objectives and outcomes.

**RELATIONSHIPS**

**Internal**
- Primarily communicates with Program Manager for direction and approvals to ensure service delivery is within established policies, procedures and service delivery standards.
- Works with all staff to implement, develop and evaluate the overall projects.
- Actively participates in NPAAMB programs, meetings and projects.
- Supervision of participants as directed.

**External**
- Works with community and partners to ensure project objectives are being met throughout applicable NPAAMB Centres.
- Promote and raise awareness of the program to various communities.
- Identifies and builds partnerships and effective working relationships with potential community partners for purposes of client referrals
