Rv Technician

Tom's RV Service & Supplies Ltd and RVSUPERSTORECANADA.CA is a locally owned small business and Victoria's leading RV Repair, Service and Parts company for nearly 40 years which strives for exceptional customer service which includes consistent focus on building long term cliental.

We are currently looking for an experienced RV Technician who is fully trained in all aspects of RV service and repair. This position is full time, permanent and offers a competitive wage that comes with employer paid benefits

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The RV Technician examines, troubleshoots, tests, diagnoses, installs, services and repairs all interior and exterior components, conversions and carries out these duties efficiently and professionally, and works closely with the Service Advisor to ensure jobs are completed competently and in accordance with commitments made to the customer either being in our shop or on the road with our mobile service.

The RV Technician works as part of a team to ensure the client was glad that they chose Tom's RV for their RV.

The RV Technicians face new challenges every day in completing work orders, take pride in the work they do, solves problems, and are highly competent in all these areas:

- Axel flips, hitches & suspension
- Winterizing / de-winterizing
- Seasonal inspections
- Roof & exterior seam caulking
- Brakes, brake controllers, bearings and bearing repacks
- Propane gas, electrical systems, water systems and plumbing systems
- Furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, air conditioners
- Fibreglass, body and structural components including roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters
- Batteries and charging systems
- Restorations & customization
- Rot & Water damage
- Satellite and Solar Systems

**KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Red Seal / or equivalent
- Good communication, organizational and learning skills
- Ability to upgrade and learn new skills as technology advances
- Self motivated and great team member
- Pride in workmanship and the desire to deliver a superior result, and truly WOW Tom's RV customers
- Commitment to safety and maintaining safe working conditions
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, climb, lift, and carry objects up to 25 kgs, and able work at awkward angles
- Drivers License
