At Infarm, we grow a smart global Infarm network that brings farming to the people. As custodians of the employee experience, our People Partner Team facilitates the employee experience of one of the most exciting Agri Food Tech start-ups and a true disruptor, aligning business objectives with our people strategies.
As the onsite People Generalist for our Hamilton Growing Center, you will work closely with our Food Production Site Manager to positively shape the employee experience and support our Infarmers onsite. You'll also collaborate with our People Partners and Generalists on company-wide people practices aligned to the business strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a global People Team in a fast-paced environment and take the day to day HR responsibilities in the Growing Center.
This role will be required to work onsite in Hamilton a minimum of 3-4 days per week.

**Responsibilities**:
- Act as a people champion and change agent, being a reliable point of contact and advisor for employees and managers at the [Hamilton/Pfungstadt] Growing Center
- Lead employee engagement and be a culture keeper
- Understand the Growing Centre priorities to deduct the best People initiatives and support
- Advise management on daily People topics and employee relations issues
- Provide guidance and support to Infarmers on People policies, procedures, and practices
- Partner with management to proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
- Coordinate/draft employment contracts and other employment documentation with the People Operations Team
- Support with the recruitment strategy and process for the Growing Center
- Work with management to oversee the Health and Safety program
- Guide management through the bi-annual performance review process
- Stay up to date on employment regulations and relevant legislation, and ensure our policies and practices are compliant
- Work on company-wide People Team projects
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience with at least 1 year in a Generalist or Advisor role
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in Human Resources Management or related field
- Experience advising managers on HR topics, local labor laws and employee relations issues
- Experience working onsite in a manufacturing or production environment
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution and analytical skills
- Flexible approach and growth mindset
- Self-reliant and collaborative way of working, high level of independency
