The Purpose of the Role
Under the supervision of the Vice President, Marketing and Digital Strategy, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, developing, and ensuring the execution of content and communication strategies that highlight our brands to our clientele and within the company. Additionally, they must act as a positive leader, fostering strong synergy among marketing activities within the team, related marketing units, and other departments. They will manage and guide the marketing team, whose tasks include, but are not limited to, developing production and content calendars, creating engaging content, planning events and national campaigns, managing public relations and corporate communications, and contributing to the development of our employer brand.
Key Responsibilites
- Maintain the image and reputation of the La Vie en Rose brand and the Roses Hope Foundation by developing and implementing content and communication strategies across all marketing channels.
- Plan, execute, and monitor the marketing content strategy in collaboration with the teams, ensuring that production timelines are respected.
- Optimize internal processes and interdepartmental communication to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper management of the content and public relations budgets.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan product promotion strategies both online and in-store, ensuring message and image consistency with design, buying, and sales teams.
- Collaborate with SEO teams to develop content strategies that will optimize the performance of our digital channels.
- Work closely with the buying team to determine which products to highlight and photograph based on sales strategies, while collaborating with the creative team to ensure content creation aligns with brand standards.
- Provide relevant and comprehensive product information to drive online conversions, optimize the shopping experience for La Vie en Rose, and keep all related documentation (product descriptions, collections) up to date.
- Manage and guide content for public relations and media relations, track media coverage, and monitor industry trends, while handling donation requests, sponsorships, product and content solicitations, and media interview requests.
- Develop internal communication strategies in partnership with HR to reinforce company culture and support employer brand initiatives.
- Analyze store performance and, with the team, propose initiatives to boost sales and raise brand awareness.
- Organize and coordinate corporate events and support stores in planning local events to drive traffic.
- Recruit, train, motivate, manage, and evaluate team members, providing regular follow-up and delegating projects effectively.

- Product Knowledge: You possess a thorough understanding of product development and the purchasing process, enabling you to design marketing strategies aligned with market needs.
- Writing Skills: You have a genuine interest in writing and content creation, whether for marketing, public relations, or internal communications.

- A bachelor’s degree with a focus in marketing or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing in the retail sector, with a minimum of 7 years in team management.
