Execute, provide advice and case management expertise to employees, managers, HR colleagues and third-party providers. Provide various reports and trend analysis on absences. Status: Contract Full Time - 18 months Work Style: Hybrid Location: 115 Midair Court, Brampton, ON Internal Posting Deadline: May 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. (EST) **Why Dynacare is an amazing place for YOU**: - Join an award-winning "Top Employer" with meaningful and impactful career opportunities - Access a health and wellness benefits program that supports you and your loved ones - Grow and thrive with a dynamic, successful company through internal mobility opportunities - Invest in your future through RRSP match benefits and an employee stock purchase program - Experience a collaborative, diverse workforce that prioritizes dignity and respect for all **How YOU will make a difference**: - Provide active case management of short-term and long-term disability claims, and Workers’ Compensation claims, working in collaboration with third parties (e.g., insurers, disability claims vendors, Workers Compensation representatives), Managers, Human Resources and Employees - Responsible for gathering required information, completing and submitting required forms; and ensuring that disability programs are effectively managed within company guidelines and legal parameters - Ensure accurate and timely tracking of case information and communication of decisions - Work with managers and applicable third party on root cause analysis of occupational and non-occupational incidents. - Conduct and review investigation reports and communicate trends to Health and Safety - Support collaborative return to work planning with managers and HR representatives, minimizing lost time and ensuring program effectiveness (e.g. review of functional abilities forms, review requests for modified duties, etc.) - Conduct return to work screening conversations and follow-up on associated plans for various absences (e.g. Return from absences related to Covid, Occupational and Non-Occupational absences, etc.) - Provide regular reporting and conduct trend analyses (e.g. Disability Absence Trend Reports, Joint-Health and Safety Scorecards, Motor Vehicle Accidents Reports, NEER and Cost Statements, etc.) - Proactively identify areas of opportunity, develop and conduct training presentations related to disability management - Remain current with respect to best practices and legislation impacting disability management - Conduct work as assigned related to the company benefits program - Perform and participate in other department related programs and initiatives as required **What YOU bring to the role**: - Comprehensive knowledge of disability management (occupational and non-occupational) program principles and practices - Strong understanding of related legislation pertaining to disability management, Workers Compensation, return to work and accommodation, etc. - Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or Health Sciences - Certified Disability Management Professional designation is preferred (or work in progress towards designation) - 3 to 5 years related work experience in occupational and non-occupational disability management - Excellent technical skills with advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel - Experience in handling occupational and non-occupational disability cases - Experience in working with third parties (insurers, Workers Compensation representatives) - Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with superior attention to detail and accuracy - Very strong organizational skills, including balancing multiple responsibilities, effectively meeting deadlines and handling high work volume - Being adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal), able to communication effectively with all levels, exercising tact, diplomacy and sensitivity - Ability to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders - Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team envi
