**How you’ll contribute**

As one of our **Driver / Yard Assistant’s**, you’ll provide direct support to our Construction Equipment and Temporary Fencing teams through:

- Spending up to 50% of your day safely operating company truck picking up, delivering, loading, and unloading temporary fencing, construction, and general equipment to and from Stephenson’s locations and client sites.
- Spending up to 50% of your day working outdoors in our Yard and Facility.
- Conducting daily inspection of orders, checking for any damage or defects prior to return or delivery.
- Preparing daily orders, sorting, stacking, loading, and unloading construction equipment and temporary fencing products.
- Staging, washing, cleaning, and prepping construction equipment for next service or repair order.
- Maintaining all inventory control documents to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management computer system.
- Always conducting yourself professionally when dealing with co-workers, clients, and third-party suppliers.
- Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, yard area, and company truck, completing all daily tasks and reports related to vehicle usage.
- Safely handling and moving materials and equipment through the facility.
- Immediately advising your supervisor of all customer complaints.
- Reporting any workplace hazards and helping to eliminate them.
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies and conducting safe work practices at all times, including wearing required PPE.
- Checking in with your supervisor for additional duties as assigned including, but not limited to, housekeeping, yard and facility maintenance, etc.

**What we’re looking for**
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
- Class 3 or Class 5 Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract. **Class 3 License strongly preferred.**:

- Previous Class 3 or Class 5 driving and delivery experience.
- 1-2 years of related experience in heavy general labour, scaffolding, construction, or similar background.
- Exceptional communication skills and customer service skills, able effectively able to deal with internal staff and clients.
- Comfortable operating a company pick-up truck.
- Comfortable with traveling up to 50% of the day and working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
- Comfortable with repetitive reaching, lifting, bending, loading, and unloading.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
