**POSITION OVERVIEW**

This position is set up, start up and the operation of Tetra Pak filling equipment. Includes caser/stacker area
- ensuring case supply to caser equipment and conveyers are properly working. Also includes downstream equipment, such as straw applicator.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES**
- Follow operation manual to operate machinery.
- Daily and weekly care of equipment.
- Check quality of products including materials and finished goods.
- Prepare all packaging materials for filler.
- Set up the filler according to the operation manual.
- Perform all testing/checks while setting up the machine.
- Communicate with pasteurizing area and start running the filler.
- Maintain quality control checks of codes, seals, and weights.
- Regular cleaning of associated work area and CIP equipment operated after production.
- Report mechanical failures and repair minor breakdowns.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education and Experience**
- Grade 12 education
- Mechanically inclined
- Working knowledge in food or dairy environment
- Forklift Licensed preferred
- Basic computer knowledge would be an asset
- Must be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment
- A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone
- Can easily assume additional responsibility as required
- Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- **Similar experience an asset**
