Crowe MacKay LLP is excited to grow our team and our **Sunshine Coast** office is currently searching for a **Manager - US Tax** to join our team. We will consider applicants looking for a fully remote position as well.

**The Role**
- Manage and review US personal tax engagements independently and effectively (including Form 8621, Form 3520, Form 8833, Form 2555, and additional US Tax Return forms as applicable)
- Deliver complete product to the Senior Manager or Partner on a timely basis.
- Respond to client questions and queries.
- Delegate tasks to all levels of staff.
- Providing guidance and training for staff members to enhance their career development within the firm.
- Responsible for managing client relationships, winning new work and managing quality of work completed.
- Responsible for managing client portfolios.
- Mentor and coach senior and staff accountants.
- Undertaking tax research with guidance from senior specialists.
- Identify and document tax filing positions, including risk analysis.
- Prepare internal and external client correspondence.

**What You Will Bring**
- CPA designation - Canada or US - with 3+ years relevant experience
- Experience with Canadian personal tax returns and additional Forms such as T2062, NR4, section 216 returns an asset
- Excellent project management, time management, and leadership skills
- An innovative thinker, comfortable in a team and client-focused environment
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- Problem solver with solid analytical skills
- Experience in CaseWare/Caseview, TaxPrep, and CCH Axcess is an asset
- Experience in a paperless environment is considered an asset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines
