Sunshine Coast, Canada Sechelt Painters Full time

We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as Door-to-Door Sales Representatives for a local painting company ON THE SUNSHINE COAST BC. This role involves engaging with homeowners in designated neighborhoods to promote our painting services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively engage with residents in targeted areas, explaining the benefits and features of our painting services.
- Distribute marketing materials and business cards.
- Answer basic questions about our services and schedule appointments for estimates.
- Collect contact information from potential clients for follow-up.
- Represent the company professionally and courteously.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable with door-to-door sales approach.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
- Must be able to work outdoors and walk for extended periods.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 28 per week

- The other challenge of this job is talking to people and facing rejection. In my experience doing this job, I found this to be extremely helpful for building confidence and customer service skills. However, it can be frustrating and disheartening at times. Are you ready for this challenge of the job?
- If you demonstrate good work ethic as a door knocker, I may be interested in bringing you on full time as a painter in May. No previous experience is necessary. Would this be something you'd be interested in?
- You will be walking outside from 1pm to 5pm or 4pm-8pm which can be very cold in January and February. Are you prepared to dress appropriately and comfortably manage the outdoor elements, including cold winds, snow, and rain?
- You will need to get to various neighbourhoods primarily in Sechelt, as well as in Halfmoon Bay, Roberts Creek, Davis Bay, and Gibsons. I don't recommend doing this job without access to a vehicle. Do you have reliable access to a vehicle to use for this position?
- Do you understand that you must live on the Sunshine Coast and commute to Sechelt/other towns on the Sunshine Coast to do this job?
