**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced and driven **Controller** to oversee all aspects of our financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and can balance hands-on accounting with strategic financial oversight.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
- Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and financial systems
- Analyze project performance, job costing, and profitability
- Support management with data-driven financial insights and recommendations
- Supervise and mentor accounting team members
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and employment laws

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **CPA designation required**:

- **Minimum 5 years of accounting experience** in a similar role with team leadership
- Experience working with **Sage 100 Contractor** (asset)
- Working knowledge of **payroll and BC employment standards**:

- Experience with **job costing and project management accounting**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with the senior management team

Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
