Quality Control Inspector performs inspections, checks, and tests on incoming, in-process and finished materials, components & product. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for producing quality assurance documents to release to certain customers at the time of shipment.
- Performs visual & dimensional inspections, hardness tests and physical counts of incoming and finished materials & components.
- Has a good understanding of measuring tools (hand tools, CMM experience is a bonus)
- Ability to read and understand basic GD&T.
- Strong computer skills ( Microsoft office, Excel)
- Conduct receiving, in-process & general final Quality Control inspections.
- Executes visual and dimensional inspections on in-process components when required.
- Compares data and findings to drawings and work order specifications.
- Reports any discrepancies regarding quality inspections to Quality Assurance Manager
- Initiates and follows up on Non-Conformance reports.
- Completes quality control documents and files them accordingly.
- Maintains quality control inspection information in ERP system as appropriate.
- Follows appropriate company procedures in regard to the releasing of finished goods.
- Maintains and organizes the inspection area in an orderly fashion.
- Product part marking management
- Keeps tooling up to date with proper calibration requirements. Files calibration documents accordingly.
- Experience with Visual Manufacturing ERP an asset but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
