**Responsibilities**:

- Design and lead test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts.
- Coordinate test strategy with project managers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to project activities from a testing perspective, including development and integration testing.
- Plan and manage tests, assess risks, and select appropriate test approaches.
- Execute, monitor, and adapt tests based on results, ensuring test objectives are met.
- Implement test automation strategies and frameworks.
- Select and manage testing tools and environments.
- Report on test progress and outcomes.
- Lead software development lifecycle tasks, including programming and specification creation.
- Provide guidance to team members and ensure deadlines are met.

**Qualifications**:
**Must-Have Skills**:

- API Testing expertise.
- Knowledge of AODA.
- Proficiency in SQL.

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Test automation experience.

**Key Competencies**:

- Functional testing for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Automated test script development using tools like Selenium and Postman.
- REST API testing and database testing with SQL.
- Test case design and defect reporting.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Strong teamwork, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $65.00-$80.00 per hour

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- AODA: 2 years (required)
- SQL: 3 years (required)
- System testing: 10 years (required)
- API Testing: Selenium, Robotic, WAVE and others: 3 years (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5V 1R5
