Laurie’s Paws On the Go is looking for a reliable, animal-loving Part-Time Dog Walker (Independent Contractor) to join our team. You’ll start with steady mid-day walks for one client in Belwood, with opportunities to take on more walks as our business grows.

**Responsibilities**:
Safely walk dogs on leash (30-60 mins, occasional 2.5 hr adventure walks)

Refresh water, check paws, ensure dog safety and comfort

Log each walk in the Walkies app with notes + photo

Follow routes/schedules provided by the business owner

Communicate with business owner only (not directly with clients)

**Requirements**:
Reliable transportation

Comfortable handling small, medium, and large dogs

Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented

Smartphone with ability to use Walkies app

Willing to complete/provide background check

Must work as an independent contractor (not an employee)

Pay

$15 per 30-minute walk

$20 per 45-minute walk

$25 per 60-minute walk

$50-60 per 2.5-hour adventure walk

Travel allowance for further towns (Arthur, Fergus, Orangeville, Belwood)

Schedule

Steady mid-day walks (10:30-11:30 AM)

Approx. 2-10 hrs per week to start

Schedule confirmed weekly on Sundays

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week

Work Location: In person
