**Division**: Production Studio, Nelvana

**Work Status**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Location**: Toronto office (25 Dockside Drive, Corus Quay) with ability for flexible remote options (applicants must be within Ontario)

**About the role**:
Nelvana Studio, (a Corus Entertainment company), has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate level 3D Animator for our Toronto office. This individual will report to the Animation Director of one of our popular 3D television shows, entering its 3rd season
You’ll be working on things like
- The creation of 3D animation
- Work alongside the Animation Director and Art Director to enhance animation procedures and continually raise the quality of productions.
- Animating assigned scenes and meeting quota deadlines
- Completing all required revisions
- Maintaining continuity from scene-to scene and Animator-to-Animator
- Identifying and troubleshooting problems with design or storyboard with the Supervising Animator

If you have the following we want to hear from you...
- Classical animation training required.
- Strong understanding of animation concepts i.e. acting, timing, expression and posing
- A minimum of 3-5 years of 3D animation experience producing high-quality work within a production studio
- Demonstrated adaptability to proprietary animation tools
- Solid understanding of Maya Software
- An open minded, positive attitude within the ability to work within a team
