Conveniently located in Greater Victoria with a fully stocked lumber yard New to the GMS Canada Family, Home Lumber and Building Supplies has proudly served Vancouver Island customers for 63 years.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Sales/Light Delivery Associate

**Duties**:

- Greet customers in person and on the phone, and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information in a timely manner
- Deliveries as dictated by the needs of the business
- Superior customer service while driving and delivering materials

**Qualifications**:

- Previous retail or sales experience preferred
- 3+ years relevent experience in a lumber yard
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of products and services offered
- Valid Class 5 BC drivers licence with clean abstract
- Ability to work well individually and in a team
- Ability to communicate in Punjabi is an asset
- Physical requirements:

- Ability to lift up to 65lbs
