Fountain Tire is looking for an experienced and reliable **Mining Tire Repair Technician** to join our growing mining division.

- Inspect tires on-site to determine whether they can be repaired safely
- Complete preventative and corrective repairs. This will include skiving, patching, filling and final inspection
- Set-up, take-down and monitor the tire vulcanizing machine, ensuring the correct cure times are being performed
- Drive Fountain Tire mobile tire repair truck to and from the mine sites
- Ensure all inventory is stocked and that all tooling is in safe working order
- Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire. This includes adhering to jurisdiction’s Mines Act and client safety procedures and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Employment contingent on successful pre-access drug test
- Experienced in the repair and vulcanization process of OTR tires
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Valid Class 5 license
- Ability to lift 25+ kilograms
- Ability to drive and fly in to remote working locations on a scheduled shift and work in any weather condition
- Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers; this includes good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license, and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from province of residence.
