**Tire Technician Job Description**

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Install, balance, and rotate tires on a variety of vehicles
- Perform tire repairs and maintenance services
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear and damage
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering recommendations
- Assist in sales by promoting tire products and services to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Lift heavy tires and equipment as needed during service operations

**Experience**
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to tire services and vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in tire installation and repair
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Experience in heavy lifting, as this role involves handling tires that can be quite heavy
