We are currently under a new ownership, we have ambitious plans and we are seeking for a talented _**Mid-Level Mechanical Designer**_ who wants to be part of them
Are you in?
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors
- Update reviewed drawings to reflect changes and or errors/ omissions
- Produce drawings for shop fabrication/ installation and relevant detailing
- Distribute projects, submittals, approvals and drawing requests
- Effectively communicate and work with cross functional team members to detail drawings as needed
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
- Write technical reports and present to production weekly meeting or management as needed.
- Liaising with the customers, suppliers, and the coworkers to achieve company goals
- Create custom designs as required to meet customer requirements
- **Qualifications and Skills**_
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience and working knowledge of CAD, Auto CAD and Inventor
- Post-secondary related education is a plus
- Project management experience
- Experience with manufacturing ERP software would be considered an asset
- Great organizational and time management skills to lead, schedule and coordinate a team to complete multiple tasks
- Able to work in high pressure and time sensitive conditions
- Attention to detail with a well-rounded work ethic and positive attitude
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Able to work and communicate effectively with cross functional team members
- **Salary**_
Between $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year, dependent on skill and experience
