Accounting Technician

Our services include audits, review engagements, compilations, corporate and personal taxation (compliance and planning), agricultural support programs, bookkeeping, estate planning and consulting.

**Job Overview**

**Roles and Responsibilities**

• Plan and prepare client engagements (compilation, review and audit) preparing working papers, financial statements and tax returns
• Take ownership of multiple engagements for larger, more complex corporate groups
• Assist partners with specialty projects, such as estate planning, cash flows, rollovers, tax planning, etc.
• Prepare and review personal T1 returns, some of which require business or farm statements

**Skills**

• Experience with CaseWare, CaseView, and personal and corporate tax software is an asset
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, SAGE 50, and AgExpert is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work flexible hours, and multi-task
• Committed to ongoing professional growth and development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel)
