We are looking for a veteran and proficient ESL teacher to join our team. You’ll organize and deliver courses for non-native speakers with diverse activities and methods that cover all aspects of English language skills (LSRW) and work on improving these skills of the international students. You will be required to develop lesson plans, prepare learning material, provide ongoing feedback to students and evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments. You should be organized, computer literate, and be able to communicate in a vibrant and effective manner.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Teach the assigned course/s in accordance with course competencies and satisfy extracurricular responsibilities as defined by the administration.
- Plan and prepare well developed daily lessons plans which stimulate and encourage students, and promote enjoyment of learning.
- Develop and/or utilize effectively a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of the students.
- Introduce cultural aspects to ESL students, especially to those who are new to the English-speaking country.
- Retain all lesson plans, assessment data, and attendance records using the school-sanctioned electronic interface.
- Design, administer, assign and evaluate a range of formative and summative assessment and homework as appropriate.
- Assess, track, and provide relevant and timely feedback on achievement (performance and growth) and developmental needs to students, academic, and other managers/colleagues
- Attend academic, departmental, and school meetings when required, and attend/deliver professional development sessions as directed.
- Adhere to standards and procedures detailed in the Staff Handbook.

**Qualification and Requirement**
- Bachelor's degree, (Master’s preferred) from an accredited college/university preferably in English /education or an analogous field.
- Valid TESL Ontario Certification (OCELT)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of previous teaching experience as an ESL teacher either in Canada or overseas
- Previous online teaching experience using different platforms ( Zoom /Class 365)
- High level of organization and punctuality
- Excellent class management skill
