**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
If you like to be in action while using your analytical side, we have an opportunity for you.

You will be responsible for the inspection of parts and unfinished products according to the methods prescribed in the procedures or work instructions. You will also be called upon to support the production employees on a daily basis in order to achieve quality standards.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Ensure that part inspections are done according to established criteria and advise production supervisors when questions arise
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections and record data
- Carry out certain verifications of the parts inspected by the grinders and provide training as needed
- Ensure that inspection priorities are respected according to deliveries
- Support the quality team for any other mandate

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- Relevant training (quality control, metallurgy, process, mechanical or other) or experience in similar functions
- Knowledge of the foundry environment (asset)
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and metrology
- Mastery of English and metric units of measurement
- Ability to use Office software (mainly Excel)
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Customer service orientation
