**Position Summary**:
We are growing... and hiring

We are currently recruiting a Baker’s Helper to join us in our K3 location in Edmonton. Reporting to K3 & Store Manager, who is responsible for preparing good that have been baked for sale in the Retail Store and ensuring the bake shop, dishes and area are kept in a sanitary condition.

**PLEASE NOTE: Proof of Covid Vaccination is required***

**Skills Required**:

- Fluent written/verbal communications skills in the English Language
- Physically fit, capable of lifting up to 40lbs, long periods of standing and walking
- Good eye/hand coordination/ steady hand for decoration
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work with diverse groups
- Previous bakery experience is an asset
- BRC, HACCP, food safety experience/knowledge and asset
- Cashier experience an asset

**Duties**:

- Ensures neat and tidy work stations during and at the end of shift
- Cleans pans, utensils, etc. throughout the day
- Fills/unloads dishwasher; runs cycles; puts away clean dishes
- De-pans baked goods prior to packaging
- Packages goods for sale in bags or boxes with stickers
- Ices/decorates various cookies, cakes, cupcakes
- Cleans up bakery, sweeps and mops floors; cleans pans, scrapers, other utensils, bakery equipment, wipes table/counter surfaces throughout day
- Maintains bake shop and retail store in sanitary condition at all times
- Maintains/completes cleaning and temperature charts
- Assists bakers with needs as they arise

**Shift**: 7:00am - 3:15pm Monday - Friday

**Wage**: $15.00 - $17.00 /hour

CSA approved steel toe shoes/boots are required
