**Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise daily yard operations, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of building materials using various equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain an organized distribution area.
- Conduct regular inspections of heavy equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Train new employees on safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Build strong relationships with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.

**Qualifications**
- Must have class 3 license with air brake certification.
- Experience working with crane or ticketed to operate would be a strong asset.
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, cranes, and order pickers.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
