WestCorp Solutions is seeking a Junior Construction Manager to support our Client in Delta, BC. The shift is predicted to be mainly Monday to Friday but can vary based on the construction schedule and requirements. This contract is anticipated to be one year in duration.

**Responsibilities**:
The Junior Construction Manager will support the second phase of a multi-phase upgrade at an industrial plant facility.
- Assist in developing and reviewing project plans, schedules, and specifications.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor site conditions, worker safety, and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Help manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring they meet contractual obligations.
- Coordinate tasks among the construction team with clear communication and efficient workflow.
- Ensure construction materials and work executed meet the quality standards specified in the project documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with quality assurance teams to address any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of construction progress, budgets, and expenditures.
- Prepare reports to key stakeholders, highlighting progress and any challenges or delays.
- Address and resolve issues on-site and/or escalate to the appropriate manager.
- Serve as a key point of contact between the construction team, client, and external stakeholders.

**Education and Experience**:

- Undergraduate degree or relevant education focusing in Civil Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical.
- PMP completed or in-progress would be an asset, not required.
- Familiarity with local codes and safety regulations
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
