Apex and Pro-Tech specialize in complex industrial moves across Western Canada, offering rigging, heavy haul, jack & slide, and custom installation services. With the largest BC-based fleet and a strong reputation for safety and precision, we’re trusted partners for challenging commercial and industrial projects, ranging from large industrial installations to small machinery moves.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside rigging crew to offload and place equipment using various specialized tools and equipment
- Operate trailers to load, haul, and unload equipment, including the use of SPMTs
- Responsible for securing loads with tie-downs, tarps, and rigging
- Follow safe work procedures to assist with lifting, lowering, and moving materials and loads
- Exercise good driving manners and taking precautionary measures during inclement weather conditions
- Safely deliver loads of equipment, including oversize, to our worksites
- Ensure proper documentation maintained
- Always maintain good working relations with customers through cooperative attitude
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements
- Assemble, configure all heavy haul equipment/ platform trailers included
- Operate the trailers in simple and complex transports

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Possess a minimum of 1-3 years of previous experience operating trailer and/ or hydraulic platform trailers
- Experience with Goldhofer trailers required
- Willing to obtain tickets/certifications
- Able to lift heavy items
- Rigging experience is preferred, but not required
- Valid Class 1 BC driver’s license is not required but considered an asset (must have clean abstract)
- Valid Class 3 BC driver’s license is not required but considered an asset (must have clean abstract)
- Crane ticket, forklift ticket, and oversize load experience an asset
- Honest, reliable, punctual, positive attitude and flexible availability including work out of town is required
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- This position will be reporting to sites throughout the Lower Mainland with opportunities for out-of-town work
