We are looking for people preferably with cafe experience and availability during weekends.
Cafe staff responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. The most important thing in this role is to be an excellent listener and communicator. You must also have an eye for detail.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers as they enter
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
- Prepare food and beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and food
- Receive and process payments
- Cleaning and dishwashing
- Keep the kitchen clean
**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication & listening skills
- Previous work experience as a Barista is preferred
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Flexibility to work various shifts. Preference given to those with weekday availability
- Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $15.80-$16.50 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:
Customers are required to wear mask when entering the premises, ordering and picking up their order. All stations are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
