**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Design and implement security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Conduct regular assessments to detect vulnerabilities in existing security measures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop security protocols based on schematics and blueprints.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for installation and maintenance of security equipment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot computer hardware related to security systems.
- Maintain documentation of all installations, configurations, and changes made to security systems.
- Provide training and support to staff on security protocols and system usage.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and trends to enhance system effectiveness.

**Skills**
- Proficient in low voltage wiring and installation techniques.
- Strong ability to read schematics and blueprints for effective system design.
- Skilled in detecting potential security threats through systematic assessments.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in installation processes.
- Knowledgeable in computer hardware configurations relevant to security systems.
- Effective telecommunication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience with CCTV systems including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
- Overtime pay
- Tips

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Security systems technician: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
