Maintenance Technician

Holiday Pools is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. **Role Description**:
Be able to report to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will contribute and participate in activities related to preventative and unscheduled maintenance, as well as environment, health and safety, and other special initiatives, with a goal of always providing exceptional commercial and residential satisfaction through the delivery of great service to all clients. The Maintenance Technician will uphold Holiday Pool’s mission, vision, and values serving as a brand, cultural ambassador for our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain a through knowledge and understanding of all building mechanical systems.
- Perform daily site inspections including interior and exterior, and documentation of all findings.
- Complete suites make ready activities.
- Ensure all tools and cleaning equipment are maintained and serviced regularly.
- Perform waste and recycling duties.
- Responsible for cleaning duties, including litter pick-up, sweeping, shoveling, pressure washing, or other.
- Ensure property and grounds are kept clean in accordance with Holiday Pools’ standards.
- Coordinate and supervise trades work with electricians, plumbers, and etc. when necessary, including opening and closing suite doors.
- Ensure maintenance records, files, and documentation are maintained accurately and timely and in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain part stock, maintenance supplies, and complete regular inventories work with the owner or the manager to order supplies as necessary to ensure the proper operation of the property.
- Maintain all logs and safety checks
- Perform other duties as required
- Ensure all vendors and contractors comply with the established Health and Safety policy, and immediately report any infractions, hazardous conditions, or damaged equipment to the conditions, or damaged equipment to the manager.
Qualifications:
- Must have fluency in English.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to learn about the swimming pool industry and take on new challenges.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain high standards of work.
- One to Two years of general related experience preferred.
- Familiarity with smart phone and tablet technology.
- Availability for emergency response and on-call duty, as required.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and supervisors effectively and professionally, both oral and written in English.
- Superior ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, contractors, the public, and especially the clients.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
