We are seeking a team member to join our Enterprise Environment team. Reporting to the Sustainability and Environmental Risk
Lead, the Environmental Data and Analytics Officer will provide business support services to improve overall departmental and
enterprise performance and fulfill its mandate to provide leadership, expertise, and support at senior levels of the Corporation
towards the development and fulfillment of key measures for the Corporate Strategic Plan. This includes sourcing, preparing, and
analyzing enterprise environmental data and collaboratively developing strategies that improve Manitoba Hydro's environmental
performance. The Environmental Data and Analytics Officer also provides project direction, leadership, and support towards
business plan optimization, process improvements, performance measurement, and review aligned with corporate strategies. This
will be achieved by building strong working relationships with management and other key stakeholders throughout the corporation.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Lead and/or coordinate the development of new and innovative opportunities to continuously improve corporate alignment and

performance, including the corporation's strategic planning, performance measurement, and business planning processes in
relation to environmental protection.
- Coordinate, review, and ensure the accuracy of environmental performance information provided to external parties including

regulators and industry groups.
- Compile, analyze, and prepare environmental data reports for submission to internal and external stakeholders, including

regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain data tracking tools, and review and analyze relevant information to identify leading and lagging

indicators and areas of improvement.
- Develop project plans, including communication strategies, implementation strategies, milestones and management system

indicators/measures for the strategic development of enterprise environmental initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation in order to interpret and provide advice regarding legislated requirements to Senior

Management, the Enterprise Environment Department, and staff across the enterprise.
- Develop performance metrics related to activities within the Department and across the enterprise for monthly, quarterly, and

annual reporting and trending.
- Develop analytical reports that provide predictive modelling for incidents and document the success of mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with and work alongside the Safety Data and Analytics Officer on shared divisional projects.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Four-year university degree from an institute of recognized standing in a discipline related to the duties (such as

Environmental Science or Environmental Studies) plus a minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience.
OR
- Two-year diploma in a related discipline plus seven years' of progressively responsible work experience.
- Graduate degree and/or professional designation in a relevant field (such as Project Management or Business Analytics)

- Working knowledge of corporate business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Possess a valid Province of Manitoba Driver's Licence and prepared to travel periodically.

**_ Salary Range_**

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $41.77-$57.63 Hourly,
