Hybrid Infusions, the parent company of the premium cannabis brand, Virtue Cannabis, is a dynamic, fast-paced independently owned and operated Licensed Cannabis Producer located in Edmonton, Alberta. We take pride in our commitment to excellence and our team of exceptional, passionate individuals. We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our operations team.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be a key contributor to our facility's uptime and efficiency. You'll perform preventive maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs to ensure equipment functions smoothly. You'll also troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges, taking direction from the Operation and Project Managers to prioritize and complete tasks effectively. This role is perfect for a multi-skilled problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, keeping our facility running smoothly.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of machinery and equipment to catch issues before they cause problems.
- Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as required, keeping everything functioning optimally.
- Collaborate with team members to implement preventive maintenance programs, including regular cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment of machinery. 
- Document maintenance activities meticulously, including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition for future reference.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment components to ensure smooth operations and prevent downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all facility sanitation and safety standards to prioritize a safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. 
- Assist with other operations tasks as needed, such as cleaning and organizing work areas, moving equipment, and supporting other departments to achieve shared goals.

**Requirements**:

- Currently hold or working towards a relevant certification or degree in a technical field is preferred.
- Hold a valid driver license and has reliable transportation.
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects up to 50 lbs (22kg).
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including hot and humid indoor growing conditions and outdoor settings.
- Will to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided (including but not limited to sanitary clothing covers, gloves, mask, respirator, and/or eye protection)
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19, with proof of vaccination.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
