**About the Role**

We’re hiring both **Experienced Low Voltage Technicians** and **Helpers** to support our growing LED lighting installation team. You’ll be working on a variety of residential and commercial projects, focusing on installing LED strip lighting and aluminum channels with precision and care. Helpers will support the lead technician on site and gain hands-on experience with tools, materials, and layout execution.

**Low Voltage Technician - Key Responsibilities**
- Install low voltage LED strip lighting (12V/24V) and related components
- Mount, align and trim aluminum LED channels (surface and recessed)
- Terminate low voltage wiring with neat, secure connections
- Interpret lighting layout drawings and follow project specifications
- Troubleshoot lighting issues and test systems for performance
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain professional standards in workmanship and job site cleanliness

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience with low voltage lighting systems
- Strong skills in LED strip and channel installations
- Familiarity with low voltage tools, connectors, and soldering (if applicable)
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High attention to detail and pride in clean installations

**Helper - Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the technician with layout, measurements, and handling materials
- Help with mounting and securing aluminum lighting channels
- Run and label low voltage cabling under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Load and unload tools and equipment
- Learn the trade and grow into a technician role over time

**Qualifications**
- 1 year of experience in construction or low voltage is an asset
- Willingness to learn and work hard
- Basic hand tool knowledge
- Punctual, reliable, and safety-minded
- Physically fit and comfortable working on ladders

**Assets for Both Roles (Not Mandatory)**
- Experience with smart lighting systems like Control4, Lutron, or similar
- Background in finish carpentry or millwork
- WHMIS or Working at Heights certification
