**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and specifications.
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet standards
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure proper rotation of food items, minimizing waste and maintaining freshness.
- Operate kitchen equipment effectively and safely.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment
- Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of dishes
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and plating of meals
- Ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
