Our mission of "Empowering YOU to be YOU, one outfit at a time" is brought to life through the GARAGE and DYNAMITE banners and represents the consumer-centric core of GDI's long-standing success as a leading retailer in North America. **Job Summary**: The Payroll Analyst must adhere to company policies, business processes, and labour standards to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the company’s payroll for both Canada and the US. **Main Responsibilities**: - Review timesheets and attendance records and correct inaccuracies; - Oversee payroll transactions, new hires, terminations, promotions, adjustments, etc.; - Reconcile payroll on a biweekly basis; - Analyze compensation-related data, including wages and bonuses; - Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records; - Communicate payroll issues to your direct Manager; - Answer employees’ questions about salaries, wages, and taxes; - Perform other related duties as assigned to maximize the department’s efficiency and productivity. **Qualifications**: - 2-5 years of payroll-related experience; - PCP certification, an asset; - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel; - Knowledge of payroll software (UKG and StoreForce, an asset); - Excellent organizational skills; - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; - Professional attitude and strong customer service focus; - Ability to work with mínimal supervision as well as in a team environment; - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; - Experience processing payroll for mid - to large-sized companies, including both salaried and hourly employees; - Knowledge of federal, provincial/state legislation, acts, and regulations related to payroll (Canada and the US); - Excellent attention to detail; - Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec.
