**Position Summary**:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, load, and unload raw materials, finished concrete products, and supplies within the yard, plant, and shipping areas. This role supports production and distribution by ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and stack concrete products, raw materials, pallets, and supplies.
- Assist with loading and securing trucks for customer deliveries.
- Move products within the yard and plant to support production and storage requirements.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain yard and storage areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Support production staff as needed with material handling and supply delivery.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum 1-2 years of forklift operation experience (preferably in a concrete, construction, or manufacturing environment).
- Knowledge of safe lifting, loading, and securing practices.
- Ability to work outdoors and in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to safety and situational awareness.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

**Working Conditions**:

- Outdoor yard and plant environment with exposure to weather, dust, and noise.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Physically demanding, requiring standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
