**Position: Restaurant Bistro & Events Server PM shift / part-time**
**JOB OVERVIEW**:As a Server, your role is to ensure our guests enjoy a quality F&B experience. Your ability to deliver an extraordinary F&B experience combined with hospitable, attentive service is essential to building guest loyalty.
**REPORTS TO**: Operations Manager
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:
- Greeting Guests and taking their order
- Totals checks, presents to guests and accept payment
- Cash Handling
- Preparing Food to order
- Assists with bussing tables and meeting rooms service
- Make Starbucks coffee and specialty drinks
- Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, meeting rooms, and kitchen.
- Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
- Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel, and local area
- Associates are responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, courteous, and quality restaurant service.
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
- Perform various other duties as assigned
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:
Previous food handling, fast food or serving experience is preferred. Must have the ability to communicate in English. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server's Permit. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.

You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.
Safety & Security:
The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Brock Hotels. Every associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
