Join our growing brand of Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken on Vancouver Island We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support our Duncan location. This is an exciting opportunity to grow with a well-established restaurant chain.

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Schedule**: Days, evenings, weekends

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage restaurant operations with focus on speed, quality, service, cleanliness, and profitability
- Maintain Lee’s standards, conduct performance reports, and address areas needing improvement
- Schedule staff to balance customer experience and labour cost goals
- Oversee equipment and facility maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs
- Train, develop, and coach staff to meet operational goals and standards
- Address performance issues promptly and effectively
- Promote a positive work environment and lead semi-annual climate meetings
- Ensure compliance with employment standards, WCB, and health regulations
- Manage revenues and costs to meet profitability goals
- Participate in annual profit planning
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly accounting
- Follow company cash management policies and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Handle customer complaints and incidents per company policy; train staff on service recovery
- Build business through local marketing initiatives and community involvement

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in retail or food service
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team development skills
- Knowledge of all restaurant positions and food-safe practices
- Ability to manage administrative and accounting responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Passion for developing and mentoring others
