**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food preparation will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items are fresh, appealing, and meet health standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
