Our company is hiring a Production Leader to coordinate, assign, oversee and join production activities daily. the Leader will be responsible for the quality control of the finished goods, correct redistribution of the skids of finished products. You will also assist with Inventory monitoring to avoid the lack of inventory parts. A Production Leader will be leading and joining in day-to-day production operations to ensure product specifications, quality standards and daily production goal achievement. As a Production Lead, you must possess good time management skills in order to distribute the task and join the production. You must be have good communication skills to collaborate with your team, identify errors in productions early on and explain and demonstrate individual tasks whenever needed. To succeed in this role, you should be kind to employees, firm in production targets, able to ensure the quality of the final product and have the ability to multitask. Ultimately, you should be able to take ownership of production processes while prioritizing accuracy and efficiency.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Responsible for preparing and monitoring the assembly stations for daily production
- Responsible for assigning daily work to team members based on production priorities
- Work diligently to help in production and drive production to meet targets, while striving to continuously improve individual, team, and company performance
- Train & cross train team members utilizing best manufacturing practices.
- Ensure proper packaging, labelling, and preparation for shipments by the production team
- Review and Close Production orders & check all shipments for accuracy.
- Coordinate incoming inventory for correct labelling & warehousing
- Monitor performance and help track attendance and vacation approvals
- Must contribute to production in a “Hands on” Basis daily
- Help ensure a safe work environment for team members.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime & weekends.
- Computer proficiency and the skill to make arithmetic calculations, complete reports, and have the ability to understand and follow directions
- Must have strong organizational skills & ability to lead the production team
- Has to demonstrate the ability to multitask and work with urgency in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout the assigned eight-hour shift.
- Must be an effective communicator, kind towards employees, firm in leading the production & possess the ability to create an environment for open and trusting 2-way communication with all levels in the organization
- SAP knowledge is an Asset.
- Ability to operate various hand tools including forklift. Operation-training will be provided
