**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns, planting trees, general clean up
- Assist in the installation of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery for site preparation and landscaping projects
- Engage in gardening activities such as planting, weeding, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal
- Conduct horticultural practices to maintain plant health and growth
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Participate in construction projects related to landscape design, including building retaining walls or pathways
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition

**Experience**
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and basic repairs
- Skills in gardening, horticulture, irrigation systems, and construction techniques are advantageous
- Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools safely
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship
