**Soda Mill Manager**
- Assistant to the General Manager (Movie Mill & Soda Mill)
- Location: Lethbridge, AB
- Schedule: Tue-Sat, 10:30 AM-7:00 PM
- Reports to: GM and Owners

**Why this role exists**

We’re hiring a hands-on, day-shift Operations Manager to own daily operations and cleanliness at the Soda Mill, co-manage and train our shared team with the GM, and help operate our new Enchanted Mini Golf. You’ll also learn selected GM duties so you can provide coverage when needed.

**Responsibilities (overview)**
- Operations & Cleanliness: Establish and maintain cleaning procedures and daily standards across front-of-house, back-of-house, and storage; run opening/mid/close checklists; ensure digital signage and in-store promos are up to date.
- People Leadership: Lead, train, and coach staff on service and customer interactions; co-interview and co-hire with the GM; provide clear, actionable feedback; run 1:1s as needed.
- Inventory & Ordering: Oversee inventory systems and wholesale restocks; manage vendor orders (including cross-border tracking when required); keep online menu and stock levels accurate for e-commerce and delivery channels.
- Guest Experience & Mini Golf: Operate mini golf (POS, scorecards, guest how-tos, line flow, overall vibe); support crowd flow and cross-department needs (including ushering/cleaning theatres).
- Marketing & Communications Support: Coordinate weekly trailer and foyer poster placements, keep promos/signage current, share key product updates with the Marketing Team, and handle essential print orders and company-channel reminders.
- Admin & Meetings: Review/post GM-created schedules, review payroll at 99% and post bi-weekly, attend ops/marketing meetings, capture notes and send company-wide updates, and maintain core admin routines while cross-training on essential GM coverage.
- Continuous Improvement & SOPs (standard operating procedures): Tweak and improve Soda Mill SOPs across dailies, weeklies, and monthlies; capture improvements, simplify where possible, retrain the team, keep documentation current, and update cleaning lists.

**What you bring**
- 1-3+ years in a food service or retail supervisor/shift-lead role.
- Strong checklist discipline and cleanliness standards; comfortable with light equipment care (froyo machines) and tools like digital signage and e-commerce dashboards.
- Customer service focus and the ability to connect with, motivate, and encourage staff.
- Experience with inventory, ordering, and basic spreadsheets (Google Sheets).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for local runs; able to lift 40 lb and stay on your feet.
- Food Safety certification (or willingness to obtain promptly).
- Successful background check required.

**Pay & Benefits**
- Starting at $21-$23 per hour, depending on experience, full-time (40 hours/week).
