The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for helping run an efficient and profitable sales department. The Assistant Sales Manager is a leader within the sales department leading by example and always supporting the team. The Assistant Sales Manager will help ensure that the dealership meets its new and used vehicle sales targets as well as objectives on a daily, monthly and yearly basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Forecast goals and objectives while motivating departments to strive to meet them
- Help conduct weekly meetings with sales team and have daily one on ones
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, provincial and municipal regulations that affect the demonstration and sale of motor vehicles
- Help recruit, hire, train, and track the performance of all dealership sales team
- Monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Help with the activities of the sales department team
- Ensure that product advisors are following an established prospecting program
- Establish relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral of business
- Handle customer complaints and problems solve any issues immediately

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of sales process, procedures and follow up
- Ability to relate to customers of all backgrounds
- Ability to network and prospect key customers within the community
- Have good computer skills
- Strong work ethic and proven track record of performance
- Management personnel require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors, as they represent the dealership
- A valid driver license is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lethbridge, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Dealership: 1 year (preferred)
