**Job Summary**:
We are seeking seasonal full-time Cutter and Bindery Operators
Training will be provided for this role. We hire for attitude and train for specific skills.
The Cutter Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and trimming for digital print
projects in compliance with job specifications and company quality standards.
We are seeking a personable, team-oriented, and hard-working individual with strong
organizational skills who takes pride in the accuracy of their work. The ability to develop
positive working relationships with others and follow detailed instructions is critical to the role.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Set up and complete pre-work inspection of commercial guillotine cutters, ensuring all parts are ready for use
Follow the process guide specifications for each product line
Work meticulously to ensure print production quality
Remove sheets of printed or unprinted paper stack from the load and place them on the
cutter bed. Jog and align sheets against the cutter guide in preparation for cutting.
Examine cut material for any imperfections
Remove finished or prefinished material from the cutter bed and stack on pallets for
shipment to the customer or next operation.
Record job information on load tags and time sheets.
Adhere to health and safety standards and procedures
Willingness to cross train in other areas
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
Standing for long periods of time.
Extensive lifting and bending actions.
Manufacturing environment with noise exposure to varying levels.
Experience with Heidelberg/Triumph cutters is considered an asset
