**General Labourer - Production**

Zehr Transport manufactures agriculture products and provides various transportation services.

**Description**

General Production is an important role to play in the daily operations of our facility. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title.

While performing the duties of General Production, the employee is regularly exposed to various environmental conditions at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced environments.

Positions require standing the entire shift, the use of stairs, heavy lifting, and repetitive motion.

As safety is our number one priority all company safety policies and procedures must be adhered to including the use of departmental specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

**Responsibilities**
- Execute day-to-day activities including but not limited to, cutting, packaging, picking, sorting & moving product.
- Ensure that production outcomes and quality fulfill customer specifications.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- Must be legally eligible to work for in Canada.
- Must be able to read/write English.
- High School diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks that require climbing, pushing, bending/stooping, open and close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer, and pulling from heights in varying climates and environmental conditions including indoors, outdoors, and dusty environments.
- Ability to lift 50bs.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Forklift Certified.
- Prior experience in production/warehouse related work.
- Able to work overtime.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, service, and troubleshoot machinery.
- Basic computer skills.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
