Farm Labour Requirements and Qualifications:

- Minimum 1+ years garden centre, nursery or greenhouse farm, horticultural education or landscape experience an asset
- Skid steer and/or forklift experience is an asset
- Tractor operation is an asset
- Plant knowledge is an asset
- Must be available for Saturday shifts May through July
- Must be able to lift and/or carry heavy loads in excess of 45kg as needed
- Steel-toed work boots must be worn while on shift
- Assist in unloading, placing, and loading shipments
- Assist in daily maintenance such as cleaning farm areas.
- Assist in plant maintenance such as potting, fertilising, watering, weeding, trimming and planting.
- Assist in pulling orders for garden center clients, contractors and landscape crews

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Garden Centre or Farm Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
