The Door Estimator / Project Manager will ensure our Niagara/GTA customers are supported and our goal of continued growth in the area is achieved.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Field incoming customer inquiries for preventive maintenance, repairs, and new installations
- Estimate new overhead door and automatic door related products
- Stay up to date and price projects for new construction tenders
- Actively generate new sales opportunities with customers in the West GTA and Niagara for our services and products
- Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure realization of customers’ expectations
- Perform follow-ups as required
- Travel to customer sites to discuss new opportunities and take measurements for estimates
- Capture account activity and opportunities in the estimating and service software
- Manage projects for timeline, cost control and customer satisfaction
- Learn and maintain product and industry related knowledge
- Develop and nurture strong working relationships with the Ventri team and our suppliers

WHAT YOU NEED
- Must be a motivated self-starter; able to work with limited supervision
- Ability to independently organize and set up a productive week of sales activities, estimates and PM activities
- Minimum 2 years in either estimating or project management
- A strong base technical knowledge in a related area
- Strong desire for personal improvement and growth
- Strong interpersonal skills; deals with conflict effectively
- Valid drivers license
- Strong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in any of the following *an asset
- Overhead doors and docks
- Automatic doors and controls
- Access control and cameras
- Gates
