We are The Gem Boutique An upbeat warehouse, managing the sale of gemstones, beads and jewellery making supplies. We have been in operation for over 11 years and we operate online

We are seeking to add another **Live Sale Host **to assist us as we continue to grow

We are looking for a young professional who is career oriented and is looking to grow You must be charismatic, a quick learner and have some knowledge of gemstones

We stream live on Instagram several times per week and host a show to sell gemstones and crystal related items.

As a host you will be broadcasting primarily in the evenings for 4-6 hour time periods. We are live during prime time when families are home and are available to tune into our sales, so it is a must that you can work up until 11pm.

**This role will begin at 24 hours per week and will transition into full time as we continue to expand.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Streaming live from our warehouse to sell gemstones and provide some knowledge on them as you do so.
- Managing incoming customer messages via social media.
- Managing time effectively to be sure you cover as many items as possible throughout the show.
- Creating a friendly and positive atmosphere on the live sale.
- Creating new product listings on shopify for our customers to purchase.

**Qualities & Skill Sets**:

- Sales Experience - We do not want our customers to feel pressured to purchase but we do respect that sales experience involves a level of drive and charisma that we are looking for.
- Time Management - You will have to be able to manage time effectively to cover a wide range of items during the live sale.
- Multi Tasking - This is a requirement as Live Sales can be fast paced and you will have to learn to juggle the sale of gemstones while responding to customer comments and claims.
- Knowledge Of Gemstones - A background of the basic knowledge of crystals is preferred. We do not expect you to know absolutely every item in our warehouse. But a willingness to learn is very important for this position.
- Motivation - We need a self motivated person who wants to grow.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
