We are a leading provider of luxury window coverings in the Ontario and are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a window covering installer. We are looking for a mature long term individual that enjoys a dynamic and independent work environment. This position is full-time.

**We are looking for an Installer who can**:

- Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments
- Perform window treatment repairs
- Receive customer payments
- Maintain proper installation paperwork
- Clean customer premises of installation debris and dust
- Help organize window covering orders and installation materials in the shop
- **Training will be provided**
- Prior general workmanship skills from any industry. Experience in working as an in-home installer is a plus.
- Self-directed and able to work independently and work as a valuable team player.
- Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people.
- Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate. Telephone, written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of staff and clients.
- Current and valid driver's license and insurance.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Ability to pass a background check, and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and can climb up and down ladders usually 16' or 22'.
- High school diploma or equivalent completed education level.

**Installer Requirements**

Experience in finished carpentry, remodeling/renovations and etc

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Professional appearance and demeanor

Measure for and install various types of blinds, shades and shutters for residential and commercial projects according to the highest industry standards.

Complete relevant paperwork

Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles pertaining to the installation of window treatments.

Provides exceptional customer service, and remains friendly, polite, courteous, and professional at all times.

Provides care for customers' property to ensure it remains protected and undamaged.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills while interfacing with all levels of staff and customers

Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, safety guidelines and procedure manuals

Basic math skills is required

Current and valid driver's license plus a clean driving record

**Salary**: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
